Hi there! My name is Carla...

I’m a mum of three awesome girls. A wife to an amazing man.  A lover of light. And I have an immense amount of passion for photography!

I’m based in Dalby, QLD and believe that we have the most amazing sunsets here. The late afternoon light with the amazing golden hour glow is my favourite time of the day.

Photography to me is more than just shooting staged images. Its about  honesty, connection and emotion. Its the ability to capture meaningful memories for my clients. To document their story. Its the lifestyle approach to capturing natural connections, beautiful interactions and candid expressions. Its real, raw, and honest.

If you like staged shoots and set-up shots full of fake smiles and big cheeses then Im not the photographer for you. My photography conveys more than a set of standardised posed shots. It captures heart and soul. The essence of people and their relationships.

Do you have memories you want captured? Products you need help to market? A wedding on the horizon? Maybe your husband or fiancé hate the idea of photos? Maybe you do too? Or you worry that your children wont co-operate for a family shoot. This is where I can help. These small barriers can be easily overcome in a stress-free shoot resulting in meaningful memories captured for you.

I shoot families, newborns, weddings, engagements, events and commercial projects. I love the diversity and are so grateful for my clients who put their trust and belief in me.

My family inspire me. My clients inspire me. The outdoors inspire me. The crazy belly laughs of my daughters inspire me. Candid connections, dry grasses, dust on the horizon… it all inspires me.

What inspires you? What drives you? What makes you smile?

If you’d like for me to tell your story, I’d love to hear from you.

It is one thing to have a photography skill but you also have a skill of making your clients feel at ease... it’s called personality. Not sure if one would work without the other xx
